In response to the Union's appeal on the issue of the customs control by the Baltic Customs in the region within the framework of Risk Management (RMS) in relation to the goods "Wood fuel granules, pellets", the Federal Customs Service of Russia reported that the scope of forms applied by the customs control corresponds to the principle of selectivity established by the Customs Code of EEU (Eurasian Economic Union).

On March 11-12, 2021 the RPU participated in the two-day online business forum held by the Trade department of the Austrian Embassy in Moscow that was devoted to the problems of the modern resource saving forest management involving the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism of Austria and also the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Federal Forestry Agency (Rosleskhoz) and the representatives of the two Russian forestry universities.

RPU applied to the government of the Russian Federation with a letter of optimization of the tariff setting of pellet transportation.
The letter was sent on 23.03.20201 to the Deputy of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Abramchenko V.V.
 

Appeal to the Head of the Federal Customs Service on optimizing the risk management system for declaring biofuel pellets.

On 20.02.20201, in response to the Union's appeal of 05.02.2021, a letter was received from the BRANCH of JSC "RUSSIAN RAILWAYS" of the CENTER FOR CORPORATE TRANSPORT SERVICES. with the assurance that the issue is fully considered and the decision will be announced later.
