On November 29, at the Woodex 2023 site, the WoodWorld-2023 conference was held. The Russian Pellet Union Association presented a report on the topic “Pellet business in Russia today and tomorrow.”

At the last WoodWorld-2023 conference, industry experts summed up the industry's performance in 2023. Despite a number of problems caused by sanction pressure, the industry is showing significant success in solving the assigned tasks and showing positive dynamics.

The Russian Pellet Union Association presented to the audience in detail the issues of importing pellets to China, as well as Mongolia, as a promising area of cooperation.

In conclusion, the Executive Director of the Association listed alternative ways to manage production waste: fertilizer production (vermicultivation, bioconversion and biochar) and inter-industry interaction (cement plants, TMM and cellulose, biochemical industry).
