Russian Pellet Union became a full member of The European Pellet Council!

On 24 November 2021, the European Pellet Council (EPC) General Assembly has accepted the Russian Pellet Union as a full member of the EPC. The meeting was held in person in Brussels, where our representative Rens Hartkamp gave a presentation about the latest achievements of the RPU.
The Russian Pellet Union will now enjoy all privileges as other EPC full members, and can actively contribute to the development of the EPC and the certification system ENplus.
Congratulations to all participants of the Russian Pellet Union!
Representatives of the Russian Pellet Union now have the right to take part in working groups in various areas, including, for example, ones related to revising the ENplus certification standard, and to commenting to draft EC directives and other relevant documents.
Our international relations manager and certification specialist is representing the interests of our members in several projects already. The RPU and the EPC are cooperating on updating the Russian e-learning material to the new ENplus standard (to be published soon), and organising an ENplus quality manager event in St. Petersburg this summer. Rens Hartkamp is also cooperating on the opportunity of closer cooperation between ENplus and SURE certification, and, for example, the development of guidance documents on safely installing and using pellet stoves and boilers.
